Privacy policy
This policy covers uncharted-sectors.com, the official website of Uncharted Sectors, published by N42C. It explains what little data this site handles, why, and how to reach us about it.

Hosting and access logs
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like nearly every web host, Cloudflare processes ordinary technical access logs (such as IP address, requested page, time and browser information) to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse. These logs are processed by Cloudflare under its own privacy terms.
Newsletter
If you join the newsletter, you submit your email address, the only field we ask for, to our newsletter provider, MailerLite. The address is stored and processed by MailerLite under its own privacy terms and is used to send occasional development updates and future playtest announcements.
Subscription uses double opt-in: after joining you receive a confirmation email, and the subscription activates only when you confirm it. You can unsubscribe at any time: every message carries an unsubscribe link, and you can also email contact@uncharted-sectors.com to be removed.
Submitting the contact form never subscribes you to the newsletter.
Contact form
The contact form collects your name (optional), email address, subject and message. Submitted messages are forwarded to contact@uncharted-sectors.com and used only to read and answer your enquiry.
Submitted messages are sent through a Cloudflare Pages Function and relayed by MailerSend (the transactional email service of the MailerLite group) to reach our mailbox. Cloudflare and MailerSend process the message content only to deliver it; nothing is stored on the website itself.
Messages are kept only as long as needed to handle the enquiry. To ask for a copy or deletion of anything you have sent, write to contact@uncharted-sectors.com.
No behavioural analytics
This site runs no behavioural analytics, no advertising pixels, no social-media trackers and no embedded third-party content at launch. We do not build visitor profiles.
Cookies
This site uses no cookies at launch: no analytics cookies, no preference cookies and no consent banner is needed. If a future feature introduces non-essential cookies, this policy will be updated and consent requirements reviewed before that feature ships.
External links
This site links to external services such as Steam, Reddit, Bluesky and others. Once you follow one of those links, the privacy terms of that service apply. Their data handling is outside our control and outside this policy.
